Warranty Information and Purchaser Agreement

CopierDiscounter may choose to cover additional elements or situations involving a customer's machine beyond those warranties contained below.

1. Two year replacement guarantee on all remanufactured copiers. CopierDiscounter warrantees the main unit to be free from major malfunction for a period of 2 years from date of purchase. This includes all circuit boards, including main motor, main logic, sorter/finisher, document feeder and any other boards contained within the main copier unit, including interfaces and other accessories. CopierDiscounter will ship replacement major components promptly. If the copiers is deemed irreparable by two (2) separate service companies (1 service company upon written approval) CopierDiscounter will replace the machine with an equal or better copier at the discretion of CopierDiscounter at no charge to customer other than shipping. CopierDiscounter may also choose to extend this warranty or portions of this warranty beyond the two year minimum. Remanufactured color copiers carry same warranties as remanufactured black and white copiers except for lower yields of 60 day, 10,000 copies, and 100% parts -including drum. 2. 60 Day, 100% Parts Warranty for black and white remanufactured digital and analog copiers. CopierDiscounter guarantees all parts within the copier to be free from defects for a period of 60 days from date of order. Any components not received or damaged in shipment must be requested at time of delivery. Unless agreed to by CopierDiscounter management before installation, all repair parts will be provided by CopierDiscounter. Any required machine installation labor is included - not including computer and network installation - up to one hour paid. This warranty covers all machines remanufactured by CopierDiscounter and does not cover "used," "demonstrator," and "repossessed" copiers unless they are remanufactured by CopierDiscounter or unless otherwise stated on customer invoice. Customer will be provided equipment documentation and Help Desk installation support.

3. Help Desk. Customers of all copiers supported by CopierDiscounter.com Help Desk technical support shall be entitled to use of said technical support, free of charge for 1 year from date of purchase.

4. Drum warranty. Black and white copiers remanufactured by CopierDiscounter come with a 6 month, 60,000 maximum copy drum (photoreceptor) warranty. This warranty is in effect up until 60,000 copies or the number of copies rated for the photoreceptor by the copier manufacturer, whichever is lower. Under circumstances where the drum fails within this period, CopierDiscounter will ship a replacement drum free of charge.

5. CopierDiscounter guarantees that unless otherwise stated, all copiers will be operable or made operable upon receipt by customer. Most copiers install without incident, and are operable within minutes. First resort under circumstances where the copier arrives inoperable due to shipping conditions are for customer to contact CopierDiscounter.com Help Desk for technical support. CopierDiscounter management will provide the customer with a technician upon request. Any repairs to be paid for by CopierDiscounter must be pre-approved by CopierDiscounter management BEFORE repairs are performed. Unless agreed to by CopierDiscounter management before installation, all repair parts will be provided by CopierDiscounter. CopierDiscounter will assist with shipping claims and, in most cases, supply all damaged parts without cost in advance of any claims being paid.

6. Return Policy. Customer may return copiers which do not function to manufacturers specification with prior written approval from CopierDiscounter Management. Customer must allow repair attempts prior to return authorization. Remember, your copier was just transported, and the most common time for the machine to need fine tuning is after shipment. Customer is responsible for any and all shipping costs, including insurance. Restocking fee of 20% applies to all returns. If customer rejects shipment anytime subsequent to placing order, and within 30 days of placing order, customer agrees to pay all shipping and restocking fees. CopierDiscounter will, when return has been approved, arrange for return shipping at our corporate discount rates with usual shipping agent or agent of customers choosing so long as said shipper provides air ride, padded transportation. Customer will receive full refund for all equipment, accessories, and supplies, including unused toner in original packaging. Equipment return request must be made to returns@CopierDiscounter.com within 45 days of original purchase date. Excessive usage on returned equipment may result in refund adjustment.

7. This warranty does not cover service necessitated by malfunctions of parts and/or attachments and/or supplies sold, provided, or installed (excluding the installation of supplies) by anyone other than CopierDiscounter, or by use of paper not compatible with the equipment. Customer may purchase toner and supplies from other vendors, but there is a small possibility that portions of warranty related to use of said supplies may be voided, if damage is due to faulty toner, developer, or photoreceptor (drum) not purchased from CopierDiscounter.

8. This Agreement shall not apply to any equipment which ceases to be at the original Customer shipping destination location or is damaged through accident, abuse, misuse, theft, neglect, acts of third parties, fire, water, war, casualty or an other natural force.

9. Specification changes, alterations or attachments may require a change in the warranty set forth herein. Such changes shall become effective upon notice to Customer by CopierDiscounter. CopierDiscounter also reserves the right to terminate this Agreement by notice to Customer if CopierDiscounter determines that such changes, alterations or attachments make it impractical for CopierDiscounter to continue to warranty the equipment.

10. CopierDiscounter shall have right to consequential damages by any reason of non-performance of this agreement. Customer agrees to resolve any disputes regarding credit card charges through legal means other than Credit Card company or issuing bank. That is, such disputes are to be resolved through legal channels or agreed upon terms. CopierDiscounter shall be entitled to consequential damages, including but not limited to attorneys' fees, arising out of customer's non-performance of this purchase agreement.

11. CopierDiscounter management may, at their discretion, elect to replace the covered equipment with comparable equipment in order to provide required reliability for customer. Customer may incur costs associated with equipment replacement during the term of this warranty, and agrees to pay any necessary transportation costs.

12. Customer accepts this agreement as binding under those terms described herein and hereby authorizes payment for same. 5% monthly late charges will apply to all unpaid balances.

13. Customer accepts the above mentioned equipment and the associated agreement, programmed or not programmed (if applicable), and waives insofar as seller and its assignees are concerned any reservations as to correctness, capability or capacity of the equipment beyond published condition and specifications. Customer accepts the fact that due to the complicated nature of the photocopying process, copiers may at times require maintenance in addition to normal scheduled maintenance. Customer agrees to treat CopierDiscounter staff in a reasonably polite and respectful manner or warranty will be voided.

14. Shipping claims are the sole responsibility of customer, although vendor may assist in filing shipping claims. Customer should retain all packaging materials. Such claims are not to be used in lieu of payment and customer hereby agrees that payment will not be withheld, rescinded or denied by any other means as the result of such shipping or warranty claims. Credit card cancellation fee of 25% will apply in addition to finance charges on any unpaid balances. Breach of contract penalty of 25%. Customer also agrees to be held responsible for all costs of collection including any attorneys' fees, and that any legal actions pertaining to sale.

15. Special provisions for color copiers: Color Copiers sold by CopierDiscounter are used and do not include parts warranty. If copier arrives inoperable, CopierDiscounter will provide sufficient technical services to repair copier to operating condition. Under no circumstances will color copiers be refurbished at expense of CopierDiscounter. Network installation is not included in any prices offered by CopierDiscounter unless specifically stated in writing.

CopierDiscounter is dedicated to making your experience with us a positive one and therefore we stand behind everything we sell. No returns will be accepted without an approved RMA number. Please contact 1-856-482-1899 with specific questions. All copiers sometimes require maintenance and/or adjustments to remain operable, this is more likely within the first days of installation. Returned machines are subject to a 15% restocking fee and all shipping charges both to and from customer location, and any services provided are to be borne by customer. Our copiers are remanufactured products unless otherwise noted. Copiers are used and have been diagnostically tested and certified as working. Unless otherwise stated, our products will come with manuals, cables, software, and drivers, or these items will be made available. Used items may have slight cosmetic imperfections including minor scrapes or scratches; slight casing discoloration; or dents. CopierDiscounter cleans every item, and repaints or replaces significantly scratched or discolored exteriors. All sales are considered final and are nonrefundable unless circumstances call for a refund.
